vac-pac™ bags are packed in an attractive and clearly branded packaging format that is consistent in height for straightforward retail merchandising and easy consumer storage at home.

To accommodate the larger bags, there are two wider and deeper pack formats whose height is consistent with the standard format. vac-pac™ bags are quality-assured and fully warranted for their lifetime.

Extensive details of the vac-pac™ product range can be found in the vac-pac™ range catalogue, an easy way for the retailer and consumer to find the products they need, quickly and easily. The catalogue has been designed so it can be updated regularly, keeping pace with the launch and deletion of makes and models by vacuum cleaner manufacturers. The catalogue has the same information as found on the front of the packs, including barcode picture, filter info, etc. It is completed by the ever-growing, incredibly comprehensive cross-reference guide, laid-out in an easy-to-follow manner.

Vac-Pac Microply

MicroPly vacuum bags are constructed from an innovative spun-bonded fabric which triple filters dust and traps the irritants that can trigger most dust-related allergies. Dirt passes through between three and five layers of filtration, each capturing smaller particles as the air passes through the filters. While MicroPly traps dust, it also allows air through, giving the vacuum cleaner up to 35% better suction until the bag is full. The flexible micro-woven material means MicroPly bags will adapt their own shape to fit the vacuum cleaner.

While paper bags are simply dust receptacles, MicroPly bags are essentially one giant filtration container. Their super-filtration power means that 99.97% of dust is trapped and contained. Paper bags, on the other hand, offer only 80-83% filtration efficiency, meaning that up to 20% of all the vacuumed dust (including pollen, dust mite faeces and mould) is discharged out of the back of the vacuum cleaner. This is the reason why many people experience itchy noses and sneezing fits after doing the vacuuming.

Particles below 10µm* are invisible to the human eye. Yet, the most common airborne particle size is 2.4µm. The average vacuum cleaner, using a paper bag, only filters particles from 30 to 50µm. The most harmful respirable size particle (eg bacteria) is 0.3µm. MicroPly bags have the ability to filter particles up to 0.3µm (1µm = 1/1000 mm).
